After 10 years of activity in Bucharest, Bio Ortoclinic decided to go closer to the patients in the country by a program of extension of the network of medical services dedicated to the treatment of the problems of vertebral column without surgery and post traumatic and post-surgery recoveries.
And the first clinic opened outside the Capital, in April 2016, will serve Constanta people and tourists who want to correlate the holidays on the beach with sessions of treatment for back and articular pains.
Therefore, in a generous space, in the central area of Constanta, on the famous Tomis avenue, at the first floor of the building where the big Post Office operates, Bio Ortoclinic is treating non-surgically the affections of vertebral column, using equipments of last generation and specialised staff, in modern cabinets, specialised for every kind of procedure, providing the patients a peaceful environment that they need during the treatments. The physicians, kinetotherapists and our medical physiotherapy nurses are prepared to apply the following treatments>
- VERTEBRAL MOBILISATION
The vertebral mobilisation is for all segments of vertebral column
By vertebral mobilisation, we follow:
– To mobilise every disk-vertebral segment;
– To provide elasticity to ligaments;
– To restore micro-circulation;
– To improve the disk hydration;
– To reduce the vertebral subluxation;
– To correct the vertebral axis.
Vertebral mobilisation, correlated to three-dimensional decompression of vertebrae, represents the ”golden standard” in the surgical treatment of vertebral column.
- VERTEBRAL DECOMPRESSION (ELONGATION)
The three-dimensional decompression (elongation) of vertebrae represents the “high tech” version of traction or elongation. It is a non-commercial method of treatment of vertebral affections, creating a vacuum effect or negative pressure inside the disks. This vacuum helps the disks to hydrate, creating the curing environment.
Also, decompression (elongation) determines the increase of height of intervertebral space.
Another mechanism by which it is operated is the elongation of ligaments of vertebral column deblocking the disk-vertebral segments and creating space for volume increase of disk.
- MEDICAL RECOVERY/PHYSIOTHERAPY
The shock wave therapy, electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, laser therapy, the therapy with short pulsatile waves, therapy with ultrasounds.
The treatments after distorsions and contusions, arthrotomies, synovectomies, arthroplasties of all kinds, forced mobilisation of joints, fractures operated, decompression surgeries, intervention on soft parts, tumour surgeries.
- PRP AND OTHER INFILTRATIONS
The injection of plasma rich in platelets (PRP = Platelet Rich Plasma) is a revolutionary treatment, relying on a simple idea: to use for cure and regeneration tissues, internal resources of every body. For the most important factors involved in such complex processes we mention the platelets and thrombocytes, cells encountered in blood and which interfere immediately post-traumatically, providing both for stop of bleeding (starts the process of coagulation), and cure of plagues.
The platelets are sources including over 40 augmentation factors, involved in the regeneration of conjunctive and epithelial tissue, increase of collagen production, formation of new blood vessels. The infiltration with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) acts according to the natural cure system of the body.
Also, for the patients overcoming the age of 55 years, on recommendation of specialist, infiltrations with a substance called Ostenil may be done, much more efficient in such situations, when our blood no longer has the same power of regeneration as in the first youth and consequently the treatment with PRP no longer gives the same results.
